More than 70 Years success story of BAHMUELLER

More than 70 years ago, on July 17th 1945, the company Wilhelm Bahmueller Maschinenbau Praezisionswerkzeuge GmbH was founded at Pluederhausen. Back in 1945, immediately after the war the success story of the company began with machine repairs and a first small series production at Pluederhausen. A few years later, the development and production of BAHMUELLER's own range of machines and equipment started. Since then, the product portfolio has continuously developed and now ranges in the three divisions of precision grinding machines for high precision components, fully automated and linked processing lines for corrugated packaging, up to individual special tool holders for precision tools in modern machining centers. Over the years, the medium-sized company developed from conventional mechanical and plant engineering into an innovative high-tech systems supplier of precision. BAHMUELLER today, is worldwide seen as technology leader in its three highly specialized areas. Particularly in the field of precision grinding machines for the automotive sector, as well as in the fully automated production equipment for the corrugated board industry, the BAHMUELLER brand has developed a strong market position in recent years. All this shows that securing jobs in a German High Tech Location is possible. The balance of jobs reflects the positive development of the company. Over 300 employees provide global success from the head office at Pluederhausen. Added are employees in subsidiaries in Asia, North America and Europe. The family-owned company places special emphasis in creating modern places for apprenticeship. Next year 18 young people will be trained with special focus on industrial mechanics, machining and in the field of industrial electronics. In October 2014, a new, ultra-modern logistics center with high-bay warehouse technology was inaugurated on the premises at Pluederhausen to make the internal processes in material management even more efficient. With this new building, the Pluederhausen site of BAHMUELLER has more than 12,000 square meters of production space and infrastructure and is thus well prepared for the future challenges of its customers. Since June 1st, 2015, Michael Holtmann, the appointed new managing director and CEO is on board. Thus the company BAHMUELLER has attracted an experienced, innovative and reliable business partner for its customers. According to Mr. Holtmann, BAHMUELLER is synonymous for a solid, medium-sized family-owned High Tech company in the 3rd generation, for which customer orientation, quality awareness, flexibility and the vision of best in class is a claim that made BAHMUELLER successful. To fulfill this claim in the future is our challenge! BAHMUELLER stands for highest precision in the development and design of special machinery and tools. We supply our products and solutions to high-tech customers in the automotive, corrugated processing and precision tools industry. We support as system supplier, the production processes of our customers worldwide. Production equipment and solutions from BAHMUELLER, combined with our excellent process experience in the production environment of our customers and the solidity of our implemented solutions characterize our way of working. Our quality claim is an important guarantee for effective and economical engineering and process solutions, says CEO Holtmann. We would like to address our 70th anniversary thanks, particularly to all customers and business partners worldwide who gave us this special challenge during the last 70 years. Our thanks also go to all who have shaped and evolved the company BAHMUELLER dynamically with their ideas and their commitment for more than seven decades. In particular, we would also like to address our respect and gratitude to the company founder Wilhelm Bahmueller and his son Hans-Juergen Bahmueller for their life's work. They have laid the foundation for todays success.
