PINION| Mastering diversity in modern hybrid transmissions

By using our clamping system, pinions are being ground in perfect relation to the bore in a highly efficient, compact high precision manufacturing cell.

Thanks to the unique BAHMÜLLER technology, the pinions are manufactured in optimized cycle time in a “one-piece-flow” process.

The basic cell can optionally be extended with a high-speed honing machine, which operates with the same cycle time.

Both cells can be extended by adding a central automation.

The overall system is thus highly flexible for state-of-the-art variant production of pinions without the typical loss of production caused by non-productive / changeover time.

This is in high demand worldwide especially in the production of modern hybrid transmissions. Another attractive feature is the seamless integration of this fully automated, highly flexible grinding / honing cell in a hard machining line including gear grinding.
