Precision and Performance at its best | TURBOX BTX 2300 and POWERPACKER are the key for success

The year 2020 is a milestone in history, in particular for two family owned companies located in the south of Germany.

100 years Klingele Paper & Packaging Group and 75 years Wilhelm Bahmüller GmbH - a successful and continuous cooperation, which has already been lasting 75 years.

With perfect timing to the anniversary BAHMÜLLER installed two new TURBOX and POWERPACKER lines in Klingele plants Werne and Hilpoltstein.

Werne has already run a BGM FFG CL 11/25- set-while-run while the teams of Klaus Lüke (Group), Amir Mirsakarimi (Werne) and Bernhard Harrer (Hilpoltstein) decided for BAHMÜLLER specialty folder gluer TURBOX and POWERPACKER – Precision and Performance Made in Germany.

Both machines are delivered with state-of-the-art DFS quality inspection system and UNIQUE EJECT – single box ejection. The common aim is to reduce set-up times tremendously and achieve a higher grade of automation and productivity. This led to further investments in a MuK palletizer robot and adjacent equipment.

The POWERACKER is equipped with a fully integrated ATS banding system, and takes off the massive workload from the operators for bundling and palletizing.

Space is always an issue – in all plants all over the world – so the team in Werne decided to install the line in U-shape. With the result that ways are shorter, which improves set-up and troubleshooting. Material handling and production planning had to be adapted, too.

Both plants are now busy to integrate the production lines in the daily work flow and process with maximum productivity and performance in order to have a fast payback on the investment.
