The BAHMÜLLER wire stitcher is a product of proven technology, reduced to the essentials. The focus of the series ZH is in the construction as an arm-, or a table-top stitcher on a frame construction. It is the ideal companion for your sample room.
The BAHMÜLLER wire stitchers accurately seal corrugated or solid box board boxes with wire staples. The stitching head is mounted in a 30° offset to the stitching arm to produce the desired angle-stitch effect.
This minimizes the zipper effect. The solid construction of the machine allows for converting of all common board grades up to heavy corrugated grades of up to 25 mm (1”) combined board thickness.
The machine consists of a machine frame, stitching arm and stitching head. The machine is driven by motorized gear drive. The advancing gear drive guides the aligned and cleaned flat wire to the stitching shoe.
Positioned in the stitching head, the staple-leg length adjustment knife system cuts the wire to the desired length. The tool forms and drives the staple into the material. The wire is folded in the stitching shoe.
For the production of
Corrugated and solid board of all common grades
The rotating tool of the Arm Stitcher ZH 23 delivers a high rate of staples with minimal wear and tear. The stroke height of 25 mm (1”) makes it possible to convert heavy corrugated board. The stitch leg length is infinitely variable between 8 and 33 mm (1/3” – 1 1/3”).
