Karl Mayer Kartonagenfabrik in Haiterbach is a manufacturer of customized and is „intelligent“ shipping containers made of corrugated packaging. The company decided in favor of a BAHMÜLLER JETBOX in 1,700 mm (67”) width.

The JETBOX was acquired to meet today’s market demands. BAHMÜLLER perfectly met that demand with the all new JETBOX Basicline. Additionally, customized tooling enhanced the total delivery scope.

Thomas Mayer, managing director of the 1958 founded business, manufacturers midsize orders. „The new machine“, he explains, „makes us faster and therefore gives us a cost- and price advantage. Currently, our main production and gluing demand is for die cut RSC, crash-lock and 4-corner boxes“.

Mayer emphasizes the „living partnership” with BAHMÜLLER. The support goes well beyond the sales process and is reflected in the continuous support. Moreover, the excellent experience with BAHMÜLLER resulted in a 2008 installed semi-automatic stitcher, type SL 25/29 (Sealing Line) with the sealing methods stitch and tape.

The JETBOX allows for the development of new market segments in with the ability to produce 4-corner lids adds to our product spectrum. Specially in this segment Mayer expects significant growth. Further, a larger variety of board grades can be converted. New customers could already be booked. Highlights are: Operator friendliness, performance and an uncomplicated start of operation. The JETBOX enjoys a high acceptance rate by the operators.
